Participants in this workshop gain hands-on experience with the various techniques for beaded knitting, including running thread beading, slip stitch and stranded brocade beading, crossed stitch and stitch head beading. The workshop also considers the techniques in terms of their suitability to different bead shapes, patterns and garments, as well as the relationship between technique, fiber and bead material. There is in-class practice with glass beads, Japanese delica beads and small millimeter gemstones.
